SATURDAY THE 23RD – EXHIBITIONS, GALA DINNER, '80S SHOW
Saturday evening is a party. After the Gala Dinner, invitingly titled "The Sea in the Hills," featuring seafood and meat specialties, organized by the Proloco (reservations starting at 7:30 pm: +39 335 755 8643), with songs performed by Livitaly Project accompanying the dishes from the special menu prepared by the Vivacittà chefs, a few meters away in the square, on the party stage, the show "Back To The '80s" by the "On Stage" company will take place.

PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION ON THE UNKNOWN AND UNIQUE PLACES OF SAN SALVATORE
In the morning, at 10:30 am, the inauguration of the first of two exhibitions: "SanSa Urbex." This photography exhibition, organized by Proloco Vivacittà in collaboration with a group of San Salvatore photographers, is a journey through San Salvatore Monferrato, but not through the more immediate tourist or celebratory gaze. It is a journey through places, details, traces, and silences: an urban and emotional exploration that traverses the town, seeking what often remains on the margins of everyday vision. The exhibition will be open until May 30th (10:30 am - 6 pm) at the Church of the Trinity, on Via Prevignano, with free admission.

PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION "REWIND '80" – San Salvatore in the Second Italian Economic Boom
At 11 a.m., "Rewind '80" will open, a new photography exhibition featuring photos from San Salvatore family albums, shared to create another chapter of local history. A journey back to the 1980s, Italy's second economic boom. Hundreds of photos, memorabilia, posters, and magazines offer a glimpse into a carefree and lighthearted era. This year, the exhibition also includes a catalog with reproductions of the photographic panels from this and all the other exhibitions on various themes, from 2016 to 2026, "San Salvatore since the 20th Century." Each family has shared a part of their history to make it common to all, to make it "public history," as theorized by Serge Noiret, a contemporary history scholar. The exhibition is set up at Palazzo Carmgnola and will be open until Sunday the 31st, every day from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 7:30 PM. Sunday the 24th, open continuously.

SUNDAY 24TH - MUSIC, CAROUSELS, TRAIN, MADONNARI, STREET BANDS, AND GOOD FOOD
PrimaFesta 2026 has a traditional patron saint theme: a market, street entertainment, music, and good food. But in San Salvatore, as we know, even the classic festivals always have a touch of innovation that makes them unique and interesting. The 2026 edition is no exception, as it aims to involve all visitors in creating a giant mosaic of 8,000 figurines. Everyone can collect them by visiting the various festival attractions and keeping the figurine they receive. By bringing it to the center of the square, that figurine will become a piece of the mosaic to be composed.
The market will open at 10:00 AM, enlivened by the "Donkey Stuzzica band" who will wake everyone up. Host Paolo Evangelista will introduce the many moments of entertainment on stage, where guests will perform until evening. At 4:00 pm, the "Dance of Life" group will perform under the Primafesta tent, followed by a concert by the Masnà band (5:00 pm). The "Madonnari" (painters) will perform on Via Avalle and at the Santuario Madonna del Pozzo, where there will be a children's chalk workshop. The "San Salvatore in Fiore" competition will also be awarded in the afternoon. For children, the festival offers rides, a show by the magician Canticchio, a face painting corner, "I giochi del Cortile" (Courtyard Games) on Via Panza, and 60 wooden games to keep adults entertained too.

Two photography exhibitions will be open from morning until evening: "Sansa Urbex" at the Church of the Trinity and "Rewind 80" (a memory album of the legendary '80s) at Palazzo Carmagnola.

Among other initiatives, one of the classics of patron saint festivals: the PrimaFesta charity stand offering surprises and toys. Typical specialties and objects Creative creations will be available for purchase at the market, and at 6:00 pm, a DJ set by Matteo GK will be available at Bar Seven in Via Panza to liven up the aperitif hour. At 7:00 pm, the image of the mosaic created throughout the day will be unveiled, and at 7:30 pm, dinner will feature specialties from the Proloco (the "Piazzetta del gusto" is also open at noon and the evening before, with a special "Cena da Favola" menu).

At 9:30 pm, the most anticipated show: Raffaello Corti "FacceStaMagia," the magician with 700,000 followers, millions of views online, and known for his appearances on TV shows.
