Exhibition "Our land up close"

In Villadeati, Edvinas Dragoni's photographs will be the focus of next weekend's exhibition, expressing "the need to be understood." The exhibition aims to raise funds for research into a very rare disease: FOP (Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva). FOP ITALIA is an association made up of parents and relatives of people, primarily children, with FOP. With this initiative, the Municipality of Villadeati intends to raise awareness of the issue and the challenges faced by those affected by this disease by supporting scientific research. Twenty-five images are on display, representing a journey through nature to convey a profoundly human story. The funds raised will be doubled by the Mediolanum Foundation for the FOP Association.

The exhibition is part of the VILLADEArTI cultural festival, now in its fourth year; a cultural festival conceived by the Municipality of Villadeati that hosts theater, open-air cinema, exhibitions, and book presentations in the evocative setting of the former Church of San Remigio. The VilladeaRti festival is supported by the Piedmont Regional Council and sponsored by the Province of Alessanria, Gal Basso Monferrato, and the Union of Valcerrina Municipalities.
