White Truffle Festival of Monferrato

On Sunday 30 November 2025, Piazza Mazzini will host the fifth edition of the White Truffle Fair of Monferrato, transforming the "gathering place" of the historic center of Casale into the beating heart of the food and wine culture of Monferrato, hosting stalls proposing truffles, products derived from truffles, local wines and typical products alongside a rich calendar of initiatives open to the public. These will range from promotion of the White Truffle, to artistic creativity, to local traditions and entertainment which will get underway the day before, Saturday 29 November.

On Saturday 29 November "Fuori Fiera" from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the kiosk of Piazza Mazzini, registrations will be open for "TartufARTE", the impromptu painting and drawing exhibition.
At 4 p.m. themed walk "Delitti e Misteri", curated by Renzo Rolando, a narrative journey through the history, legends and curiosities of the city (set off from Piazza Mazzini).

Sunday 30 November will see the presence of stalls of truffle hunters, food producers, wine companies and operators of the sector, as well as an area dedicated to truffle based food.
From 9 a.m. registrations will open for the traditional competitions, including "Il Naso d'Oro" and the categories dedicated to Tabui e Cani da Compagnia (Truffle dogs and Pet dogs).
At 10 a.m. parade and awarding of the participants, accompanied by shows curated by the breeder Cà del Corsi.
At 11:30 a.m. the parade of the flag throwers of Associazione Aleramica of Alessandria with the historic group Cavalieri dell'Ordine della Lancia together with the knight Silvano Fiornin next to the horsewoman Vittoria Bertol, while at 12:30 p.m. delivery of the works created during the artistic competition the previous day.
At 2 p.m. awarding of the impromptu exhibition "TartufARTE", curated by Circolo Ravasenga.
At 2:30 p.m. an expert mycologist and technician will assess the best truffe for the competition "La Pepita del Bosco".
At 3:30 p.m. Piazza Mazzini will host the International White Truffle Auction for the first time, with on-site and online participation, organized by Casamatta and Aorticlab.

During the day, the atmosphere will be enhanced by the selection of symphonic music curated by Dj Donald Smart, which will accompany visitors throughout the event.

The event fits with natural continuity into the busy calendar of initiatives which liven up Monferrato, contributing to outlining a cultural, food and wine offer which is vast and articulated, and ideally represents the end of the cycle of locally promoted fairs and appointments dedicated to the truffle, becoming the prelude to the December celebrations".
