DOLCI TERRE SPECIALE CIOCCOLATO

The historical center of Novi Ligure is preparing to welcome the eagerly-awaited 2025 edition of "Dolci Terre – Speciale Cioccolato". Following the success of last year, the event is doubling and will be held on two days packed with events, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. A full weekend focused on tradition, creativity and conviviality, with events, workshops and shows suited to all the
family.
Besides the traditional pastry shops of Novi, via Girardengo will host the master pastry chefs of Associazione Cioccolatieri Artigiani Italiani. These will be joined by Novi Elah Dufour, Pernigotti and Bodrato, three industry leaders from Novi, which will be present with their stands in the events and workshop area of piazza Dellepiane. The Children’s Village in piazza Carenzi will be the focal point of activities for younger children.
This year will also see the appearance of a special guest: the renowned pastry chef Damiano Carrara. He was born in 1985 in Lucca, where he took his first steps as a bartender before moving to Ireland and then to California where he opened the Carrara Pastries shops. In 2021, with his wife Chiara, he opened his first entirely gluten-free pastry Atelier in Lucca. He has also written several books. Known to the public at large for his role as a judge in “Bake Off Italia – Dolci in forno” and presenter of “Cake Star: Pasticcerie in sfida”, he will be the star of the last day. The unmissable appointment with the master pastry chef is set for Sunday 19 October at 5 p.m. in piazza Dellepiane, where an exciting Cooking Show & Meet & Greet will take place dedicated to chocolate.

The event is realized with the precious contribution of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty (MASAF) and in association with Associazione Cioccolatieri Artigianali Italiani (ACAI).

The event will have a prologue for schools and the public, namely the conference entitled “Il futuro è dolce: professioni e percorsi di formazione nel mondo del cioccolato”, scheduled for Friday 10 October at 10 a.m. at Teatro Marenco of Via Girardengo. The meeting is designed for the students of the fifth year of the higher secondary schools of the area (the participation is free and reserved to those, with request of confirmation by Wednesday 8 October 2025 for organizational reasons).
The goal is to present the multiple professional and training opportunities related to the chocolate industry, in both an artisan and an industrial area. Themes will be discussed such as the confectionery professions, academic and technical education, innovation, tradition and the employment opportunities with direct testimonies of industry professionals. A precious opportunity for guidance and dialog between school, university, companies and the world of craftsmanship.

Il programma si articola attraverso una varietà di show cooking, degustazioni, laboratori e spettacoli in diverse piazze del centro:

Sabato 18 ottobre:

Ore 10.30, Piazza Dellepiane: Si parte con un Laboratorio per piccoli pasticceri condotto dalla pastry chef Ylenia Gazzo (con turni dedicati a bambini 4-7 anni e 8-12 anni).

Ore 15.00, Corso Marenco: Un mix di Cioccolato e Musica con l'esibizione del quintetto Mousikè Brass Quintet.

Dalle ore 16.00, Piazza Dellepiane: Spazio alla Fabbrica di Cioccolato a cura di ACAI, con attività ludiche e didattiche, la creazione di una maxi tavoletta e una divertente caccia al tesoro per i bambini.

Domenica 19 ottobre:

Dalle ore 14.30, Via Girardengo: Cioccogioco con animazione e giochi a tema cioccolato.

Ore 16.00, Piazza Dellepiane: Show Cooking a tema cioccolato con la pastry chef Ylenia Gazzo.

Ore 17.00, Piazza Dellepiane: Il gran finale con l'attesissimo Show Cooking & Meet & Greet di Damiano Carrara.
