The exhibition rooms of the Museo dei Campionissimi (Cycling Museum) of Novi Ligure become the showcase for a master in search of contemporary artistic languages: Alessandro Lupi (Genoa, 1975).
The exhibition comprises a selection of works called "Densità Fluorescenti" to be admired in semi-darkness and they mark the beginning of Lupi's artistic research between the late 1990s and early 2000s; The event is a special occasion, as the author himself has personally collaborated in setting up his works inside the Museum and conceived a site-specific installation of the series "Fragments of Reality" for the outside areas of the terraces. This is formed by numerous small mirrors which reflect a surrounding reality that changes continuously, making the work ever different. The exhibition is presented as a unique experience, inviting the spectator to lose themselves among tricks of the light, shadows and light-emitting sources.
