Spectacular and beautiful Baroque music on show at the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine on Saturday 13 April at 9 pm, with three cantatas by Bach performed by the Ensemble Il Cantiere di Orfeo of "Vivaldi" , directed by Daniele Boccaccio.

Following the success of the seven Easter Cantatas Membra Jesu Nostri by Dietrich Buxtehude performed during Lent, the Ensemble Il Cantiere di Orfeo will return to the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine (via Guasco, 11 – Alessandria) on Saturday 13 April at 9 pm re-proposing all the beauty and spiritual depth of devotional Baroque music with the concert Actus Tragicus, fifth appointment of the event Il Cantiere di Orfeo, which includes the three cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) namely (Cantata BWV 4 Christ lag in Todesbanden for soloists, choir, strings and b.c.; Cantata BWV 106 Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit for soloists (SCB), choir, 2 Traverse flutes, 2 Viols and b.c.; Cantata BWV 12 Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen for soloists (CTB) choir, trumpet, oboe, strings and b.c.)
