The 32nd edition of "I Mercoledì del Conservatorio" is part of the project "Le Stagioni del Vivaldi", with the contribution of the Piedmont Regional Authority.

FREE JAZZ, Musica Libera Sincopata is the concert presented by the quartet composed by the lecturers of our jazz department: Laura conti, vocals; Claudio Lodati, guitar; Danilo Gallo, bass; Marco Volpe, drums. With the introduction of our students Chiara Sorce, soprano; Leonardo Magri, piano who will perform pieces by Verdi and Puccini.

Wednesday 27 March at 5 at the "Vivaldi" music conservatory
the experience of Free Jazz

Free Jazz - Musica libera sincopata - at the "Vivaldi" music conservatory for the tenth appointment of i Mercoledì del Conservatorio with the quartet of lecturers of the Jazz Department of the institute introduced by pieces by Verdi and Puccini performed by the students.

There is no precise playlist for the tenth concert of i Mercoledì del Conservatorio which wil be held on Wednesday 27 March at 5 pm in the Pittaluga Auditorium of the "Vivaldi" music conservatory (Via Parma, 1 - Alessandria). The show will focus on Free Jazz (Musica Libera Sincopata) a style of jazz which was born in the United States in the 1960s and characterized by research, improvisation (individual and/or collective) and great harmonic and rhythmic freedom. There will also be a concert characterized by different genres, starting at 5 pm with the first (more classic) offering of students Chiara Sorce, soprano, and Leonardo Magri, on piano, who will perform pieces by Giuseppe Verdi Pace, pace mio Dio from La Forza del Destino and Tu che di gel sei cinta from Turandot by Giacomo Puccini. To then continue with the musical performance of the "Vivaldi" Jazz Department namely Laura Conti, lecturer of jazz song on vocals; Claudio Lodati, jazz guitar lecturer on guitar; Danilo Gallo, jazz bass and electric bass, on bass; and Marco Volpe, jazz percussion lecturer, on drums.
