ARCHITECTURAL TREASURES: IGNAZIO GARDELLA IN ALESSANDRIA FOR BORSALINO

01/11/2023 - 30/11/2024
2 DAYS / 1 NIGHT
Alessandria
Cultural

Description

Alessandria is home to a large number of buildings designed by the famous Maestro, some of which are milestones in 20th century architecture. Gardella in Alessandria realized buildings with purposes very different from each other, in which shape was always inextricably connected to function. Many of them were commissioned by the Borsalino family, enlightened industrialists and benefactors of the city. The first projects date from the late 1920s when Ignazio worked alongside his father Arnaldo, and the last years of the 1990s with his son Jacopo.
This ring tour allows to discover this precious architectural heritage and the
city.
