Lunetta Savino plays Anna, a mother who lives the departure of her adult son as a betrayal which is joined by a decline of marital love ongoing for some time. Anna’s world is a place in which she no longer recognizes herself, in which she feels isolated. But is this solitude not also caused by her giving up on life? Is giving up on her dreams, hopes and desires to dedicate herself completely to her only son not a path which dangerously descends into desperation? The show investigates the theme of maternal love and its possible pathological repercussions, alternating tones of black comedy with dramatic consequences.
