ISRAL
Tuesday 7 November 2023, 5.30 pm, at the Regional Wine Shop of Ovada, Palazzo Delfino (Via Torino 69, Ovada) presentation of the 73rd issue of “Quaderno di storia contemporanea”. Entitled “Monti, fossi e filari. Agricoltura e paesaggio in provincia di Alessandria”, the Quaderno reconstructs the contemporary agricultural history of Alessandria, in relation to the more general evolution of our territory, questioning itself on the transformation currently underway and on the uncertainties posed by the climate change crisis. The meeting will be coordinated by the editor-in-chief of QSC Cesare Panizza: several authors of the essays present in the journal will attend, including Tatiana Agliani, Vittorio Rapetti, Giancarlo Subbrero, Vittorio Tigrino.

Inauguration of the photo exhibition “Quartieri di Alessandria nella prima metà del Novecento. Le immagini di una città in trasformazione” which, through the exhibition of vintage photographs from private collections and from collections of the Civic Photo-library, illustrates the transformation of the urban landscape which is a reflection of social change.

COOPERATION DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE ALESSANDRIA
Wednesday 6 December, at 10.30 am, as part of “Festival delle arti recluse” (which will be held in Alessandria from 30 November to 14 December) in the meeting room of the Prefecture of Alessandria, with the participation of students, teachers and school principals, presentation of the Civic Education units of the project “Almeno Uno”. The latter, with the activities “Continueremo a crederci il sale della terra” and “Auschwitz di là dal mare”, organises meetings in School and in Prison to tackle the themes connected with gender violence and migratory phenomena.
