Description
The City of Alessandria, ASM Costruire Insieme and Opera Carlo Felice of Genoa, with the “Antonio Vivaldi” Conservatory of Alessandria, present “PASSION”, the 2023/2024 concert season which will be held in Alessandria.

Between the end of winter and late spring 2024 the Orchestra of the Carlo Felice Theatre of Genoa will be the protagonist of a cycle of four concerts which - travelling the territory of Alessandria through several of its most significant historical, artistic and spiritual sites - will move along an itinerary of two centuries of music history, with a deliberate prevalence of Italian authors from the late 18th century to the full 20th century in a continuous and stimulating comparison with recognized peaks of the mature classicism of Hayden and Mozart.

The Orchestra will be directed by internationally acclaimed conductors such as Alessandro Cadario, Riccardo Minasi, Domenico Nordio and Alexander Lonquich, the last two also as soloists, and accompanied by
its First Clarinet Valeria Serangeli as soloist in the last concert.

Thursday 28 March, always at 9 pm, at Teatro Alessandrino, in Via Verdi 12 in Alessandria the "EASTER CONCERT" with the Orchestra of Opera Carlo Felice of Genoa directed by Riccardo Minasi.

The program includes The Seven last words of our Saviour on the Cross Hob. XX:1 (Die Sieben Letzen Worten Unseres Erlösers Am Kreuze) by Franz Joseph Haydn.
In 2018, Riccardo Minasi won the Diapason d'Or for his recording of the Last seven words of Christ on the Cross by Joseph Haydn with the Ensemble Modern.

On Easter Sunday he will perform this difficult score at the head of the orchestra of Teatro Carlo Felice of which he is principal conductor since 2022.
