"L'incisione xilografica tra segno e luce" - exhibition by Marina Bindella

Marina Bindella, artist, engraver and lecturer at the Fine Arts Academy of Rome, is a familiar figure on the city exhibition scene because in addition to displaying her work at Il Triangolo Nero, she is among the artists who have graced the events held in the "Room of ancient and modern prints" of Palazzo Cuttica. She is also the person behind the large donation of sheets which have enriched the public collections of our city with their beauty and quality.

On Friday 2 February, she will be the protagonist of two events at the Civic Library of Alessandria:
- 5:30 pm, Sala Bobbio: presentation of the book by Marina Bindella "Il Linguaggio dell'Incisione". The book presents a new, complete, and cross-sectional view on the history and techniques (chalcography, xylography and lithography) of engraved graphics, with images and texts; the author herself and Gianni Baretta, also engraver and director of the Cultural Association Il Triangolo Nero of Alessandria, will discuss her book.

- to follow, at the Sale Storiche: inauguration of the exhibition by Marina Bindella, "L'incisione xilografica tra segno e luce"; twenty or so sheets, chosen from the artist’s vast repertoire, which will give an idea of a timeline that goes from the 1990s to the artist's recent works.

The exhibition will remain open to the public until 5 April 2024 at the following times:
- Monday: from 8:30 am to 1 pm
- Tuesday: from 8:30 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm
