Description
In the name of continuity with the great painters and illustrators hosted in recent years at the Galleria Gamondio, it is a great honour for the Cultural Department of the Municipality of Castellazzo to announce the prestigious name of Giovanni Migliara for the 2023 edition.
During his travels around Italy, the great 19th-century painter from Alessandria drew town, rural, lake and sea views in twenty or so small
pocket albums.
kept in the City of Alessandria Civic Museum Fund.
The exhibition will put on show 30 enlargements chosen from these minuscule masterpieces, often depicting views which are no longer visible.
As always, visitors will be given the catalogue of the exhibition.
