Description
"La Musica e il Sacro", the event traditionally organised by Amici dell'Organo as an addendum to the Season of concerts on historical organs, gets underway with the cooperation of the "A. Vivaldi" music conservatory and is entrusted to the students and former students of the institute, and guest artists.

In Novi Ligure, the event will be hosted by the Basilica della Maddalena. The appointment, as always, will coincide with the start of the mass, at 5.30 pm with the winter time and at 6 pm with the summer time.

On Saturday 29 June at 6 pm, "La Musica e il Sacro", the event traditionally organised by Amici dell'Organo, draws to a close in Novi Ligure, An addendum to the Season of concerts on historical organs, it is organised in association with the "A.Vivaldi" Music Conservatory and entrusted to students and former students of the institute, and to guest artists.

On Saturday 27 May at 6 pm in the Basilica della Maddalena in Novi the liturgy will see the participation of the organist Daniela Scavio who will replace Antonio Polselli who is unable to participate. She will perform pieces by Zipoli and J. S. Bach.


La Musica e il Sacro”, like all the other activities of Amici dell’Organo, is supported by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Alessandria which the organizers wish to thank yet again for its support in the mission of making the organ and its vast repertoire known as much as possible. At mass and during the vespers organ playing is equally important to attract and arouse the curiosity of those present.
