Description
The Science Theatre of Alessandria will host the exhibition of greeting cards designed by Mario Bortolato, aka Bort, the most popular humorous cartoonist of the 20th century, adopted by Alessandria. A hundred postcards and greeting cards created by the artist for the festivities, each characterised by the typical humorous touch of this genial author, have been made available for display by his children Marina and Paolo Bortolato.
Mario Bortolato was a giant of humour, a reference point for entire generations, always recognizable with or without his signature (the well-known “Settimana Enigmistica” granted it only to him) and, with this exhibition, ASM Costruire Insieme and the City of Alessandria want to highlight the importance of one of its most illustrious citizens, offering the young people the opportunity to get to know the man and artist Bort who, at a distance of time, wishes the City well for the holidays.

The exhibition organised by ASM Costruire Insieme and the City of Alessandria avails of the collaboration of Bort’s relations who have curated the exhibition layout with Cristoforo Moretti.
