A journey among the Apennine Valleys of Curone, Grue and Ossona, a territory rich in history and craft and food and wine traditions. Ideal destination for lovers of nature and good food, to discover slowly, immersing oneself in the local communities. In the lands where cycling is history, we propose cycle itineraries tailored to interests and suitable for all, enthusiasts of cycling on road or gravel and families: the sole denominator will be the emotions transmitted to you by places and people.

Note

Itinerary by e-bike to discover the hills where Timorasso is grown, a native white grape variety with an ancient history. After a period of abandonment several virtuous winegrowers have expertly recovered it, and it is now Derthona Timorasso DOC, true excellence of this area. The itinerary will take us to Castellania Coppi, birthplace of the Italian cycling myth Fausto Coppi. A.k.a. "l'Airone", he was the most famous and successful rider of the golden age of cycling and still considered one of the biggest and most popular cyclists of all time.
In addition to a documentation centre, his birth home was re-opened to the public in 2000, allowing visitors to discover the most intimate and familiar aspect of the Champion.
Along the way, on the last Saturday of the month, lunch at the Antico Mercato of Volpedo. Followed by visit to a winery with tasting of Timorasso.
