Old rural house transformed into a charming relais, located in a characteristic hilltop village of Monferrato Casalese, about an hour's drive from the main centres of Northern Italy. From here, you can visit the towns of Casale Monferrato, Asti and Vercelli, and discover the villages and landscapes of Monferrato and the nearby areas of Roero and Langhe. Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta are both an hour away by car. For sports lovers there is a tennis court in the village (about 300 metres from the property) and a golf course (5 km away). The area is ideal for walking and mountain biking. It avails of rooms and suites, an exclusive wellness centre with wine-therapy and a restaurant that serves local food. Panoramic outdoor swimming pool with hot tub and a Day Spa with a heated pool and bio sauna. Wine production and visits to wine cellars with tasting sessions. The property is composed of several rural houses that have been lovingly and attentively renovated and transformed into brand new rooms and several fully equipped apartments and furnished with antique-style furniture. It is possible to stay for just 1 night at the bed and breakfast or for a weekend enjoying the local cuisine and relaxing in the various wellness areas. Alternatively, it is possible to rent the apartment for a whole week and discover the surrounding area which has remained untouched. The 'San Sebastiano' Restaurant is open on weekends and holiday periods, or by reservation. It is a charming location, ideal for couples, groups of friends or companies looking for a quiet atmosphere in which to taste food connected to the countryside and its culture. The meal is accompanied by the famous Monferrato wines, produced directly by the owners in the Camino wine cellars, which can be visited on request.
The property makes available several wellness areas: Divinum is accessed in absolute exclusivity and privacy (mainly for couples or very small groups) and you can book a 2-hour 'wellness circuit' with wine therapy, steam bath with aromatherapy and chromotherapy, contrast waterfall shower, multi-jet hot tub and relaxation area; the brand new Acquavitae offers a small but delightful indoor heated swimming pool and various hot tub positions (including a highly impressive "grotto hot tub") plus a bio sauna, a relaxation area with herbal teas, several areas with booths where you can choose different types of massages, facial and body treatments, all based on the revitalizing and anti-aging properties of grapes. The 'revitalizing grape seed mud treatment’ is worth a try, ideal for restoring tone to facial and body skin. There are still a number of areas with exclusive access: one for wine-therapy for couples and a booth for the relaxing herbal bath. These may also be accessed in the Day Spa combining one or more activities to the good food served by the Resort restaurant, based on seasonal and authentic regional products. There is also an outdoor swimming pool for summer use (available to guests). Wine tastings and the sale of wine and local products are organized in the wine production cellar on Sunday mornings.
