Comune Brignano Frascata
Agricultural municipality of the Curone Valley, whose territory extends on the two sides of the valley. The town, divided into the two parts of Brignano and Frascata, is crossed by the Curone River. The main part, Brignano, is located on a vast basin close to a hill on which the Castle stands. A medieval imprint can still be recognised today for the presence of the Castle of Spinetta Spinola dating to 1300-1400 and of the village below, connected to it by a cobblestone path which entering the town, reaches as far the Church of San Giacomo, built at the behest of the Capuchin Friars in the 17th century. There are numerous fruit cultivations.
