Accademia Ristorante
Palazzo Gozzani Treville, example of 18th century Casale and historical premises of the Philharmonic Academy since 1827, is also home to the Accademia restaurant owned by Nicola Mecca.
Chef Daniela Palestro is the daughter of the renowned Gioachino Palestro from Mortara, known for his goose products. The dining areas are cosy and solemn and you will be convinced by several well-executed dishes – such as the generous agnolotti - offered at honest prices. The wine cellar offers a good selection of Italian labels and Monferrato labels, Champagne of small wine producers imported directly by the owner. Try the veal in tuna sauce; Burgundy snails; goose liver Torchon with quince and melon compote; gnocchi of potatoes and beetroot with calamari and dill scent; goose thigh with orange sauce and baked potatoes. The cannoli of the Accademia, a specialty of the patron, will be the ideal conclusion to the meal.
