DAY 1

Late morning arrival in Acqui Terme, ancient Roman town famous for its spring waters that rise spontaneously in the centre at a temperature of 75°.
• Archaeological tour of the town accompanied by guides/speakers in historical outfits.
• The visit ends with a stop at the Cathedral of the Assumption, home to the masterpiece by the Spanish painter Bartolomè Bermejo, the triptych of the Madonna of Monserrat.
• Stop at the Wine shop “Terme & Vino” for a visit and tasting..
• To follow, visit of Villa Ottolenghi, a historical residence built in the first half of the 20th century on the hills of Acqui Terme, where you can admire the magnificent gardens, awarded the prestigious European Garden Award in 2011, the mausoleum or Temple of Herta, and the private Ottolenghi museum.
Dinner at leisure and overnight accommodation in 3* central hotel of Acqui Terme.   

DAY 2 

• Breakfast in hotel and departure for Roccaverano to visit the Quarelli Art Park, an open-air museum immersed between woods and terraces. This scenic natural area is home to a contemporary art trail of installations and sculptures.
• Guided tour of the park with picnic break.
• In the afternoon free time to continue with the search and discovery of art works. 
• Dinner at leisure and overnight accommodation in 3* central hotel in Acqui Terme.

DAY 3 

• Breakfast in hotel and transfer to Canelli, the town which is famous worldwide for spumante.
• Guided tour with tasting in the historical wine cellars known as “Underground Cathedrals”, UNESCO heritage sites that cross the hill for 20 km and descend to a depth of 32 metres.
• Lunch at leisure.
• Transfer to Castelnuovo Calcea to visit the Artistic Park “Orme su La Court”.
The route which is longer than one kilometre among vineyards and cypress trees, alternates points of meditation and sculptures of contemporary artists. A fable-like route designed by Maestro Emanuele Luzzati, dedicated to the elements of Earth, Air, Water and Fire, where the works of artists of international fame namely Ugo Nespolo, Balthasar Brennenstuhl, Rolando Carbone, Dedo Fossati and Chris Bangle, have found a harmonious place in nature. 
• Lunch at leisure.
• Short Transfer to Coazzolo to discover the Church of the Blessed Virgin del Carmine painted by the famous British artist Tremlett with the colours of the surrounding hills. In the hills behind the Church, as well as the spectacular landscape of the Alps and Monviso, you can walk across the Vigna dei Pastelli: this area features a curious artistic installation, namely giant colourful pastels that replace the wooden poles of the rows.
• Dinner at leisure and overnight accommodation in hotel/B&B area of Asti.

DAY 4

Breakfast in hotel.Walk in the centre of Asti where the Palio, an historical horse race, takes place. Through its towers, the medieval strongholds and palaces you can perceive its commercial history.
• Visit to Palazzo Mazzetti, home to the Town art gallery, featuring works by Guglielmo Caccia, Genoese artists of the 1600s and others of the 19th and 20th centuries such as Grosso, Cagli and Guttuso.
• Lunch at leisure.
• Transfer to the Monferrato hills for a route to experience at leisure to discover the sculptures of Progetto Terremerse, which “shows” the sea in Monferrato. Geological history tells us that sea covered this area millions of years ago, documented by the studies and continuous finding of fossils. The idea of sculptor Giorgia Sanlorenzo enables visitors to re-experience the ancient marine inhabitants between the “waves” of the hills and the vineyard rows. Whales, sharks, sea horses and fish are reproduced with wrought iron installations and identifiable through an interactive map for a route that merges art and nature to discover Monferrato. Itinerary recommended: Scurzolengo, Castagnole Monferrato, Casorzo, Vignale: 7 sculptures.

DAY 5

Breakfast in hotel and short transfer to Conzano to visit Villa Vidua, the historical residence of Count Carlo Fabrizio Vidua, a 19th century explorer from Monferrato and co-founder of the Egyptian museum of Turin. The Villa is home to more than 100 works of the artist Enrico Colombotto Rosso in addition to works by different artists such as Luzzati, Bonardi, Fernando Bibollet.
