ART AND TRADITIONS

1st day Arrive to Alessandria, “hat” city thanks to Giuseppe Borsalino who set up a small felt hat factory in 1857 that invented a “fashion”and a “style” destined for worldwide fortune.

The town retains the medieval star-shaped centre and a discrete town charm.

Visit to the Ethnographic Museum “C’era una Volta”

Check in to a 4* star Hotel in Alessandria

Welcome drink in Marengo and guided tour of the Napoleonic Museum with tasting of Baci di Napoleone

Possible Dinner

2nd day Count Calvi di Bergolo will give us a tour of his Castle in Piovera, situated in the Alessandria plain, surrounded by a park and farm properties.

Possible Lunch

In the afternoon, visit to Villa Vidua, interesting historic home in the small village of Conzano inserted among the Towns and overnight accommodation in Agriturismo / B&B / Relais

Possible Dinner in restaurant with traditional dishes 

3rd day Discover two unusual itineraries: the hills of Cesare Pavese, stop at the House Museum, at the Mora and the house of Nuto.
