The "Summer in the Cloister" program features book presentations, concerts, and meetings, designed for an adult audience.

Program

June:

- Thursday, June 4, 6:00 PM: Presentation of the book Nostalgic Things (Epokė, 2025) by Giuseppe Grossi, in conversation with Edoardo Ferrarese, author and film critic.

- Friday, June 5, 5:30 PM: Alice Basso presents The Eighty Questions of Atena Ferraris (Garzanti, 2026), in collaboration with the Ubik I Girasoli bookstore; in conversation with author Alessia Carrea.

- Monday, June 8, 5:30 PM: "The City Belongs to Everyone. What Has Value Is Priceless," a discussion with Elena Granata, Urban Planner and Professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan, starting with her latest book (Einaudi, 2026).

- Thursday, June 11, 6:30 PM: Review of "The Book on the Bedside Table" with Lorenzo Petrantoni; Followed by an evening at 9:00 pm in memory of Ambassador Luca Attanasio, five years after his passing, in collaboration with the Ascolta l'Africa Association.

- Thursday, June 18, 6:00 pm: Meeting on intensive farming with veterinarian Enrico Moriconi and a speaker from the Essere Animali Association, in collaboration with the Per non stare a guardare Association.

- Thursday, June 25, 6:00 pm: Renzo Tornatore (former National President of ANFFAS) presents The University of the Street (Puntoacapo Editrice, 2026). A conversation with author Massimo Delfino, journalist, and publisher Mauro Ferrari will be present.

July:

- Thursday, July 2, 9:00 pm: Traditional summer concert "Canti sotto il glicine" by the Corale Novese, conducted by Chris Iuliano.

- Thursday, July 9, 6:00 pm: Presentation of the book Monachus (Nuvole, 2025) by Claudio Ciarlo; a conversation with the author Daria Ubaldeschi.

- Monday, July 13, 5:30 pm: Alberto Vanolo, Professor of Political and Economic Geography (University of Turin), presents the book La città autistica. (Einaudi, 2024)

- Thursday, July 16, 9:00 pm: Concert by the Saxophonie Quartet as part of the Novi Musica Festival.

- Thursday, July 23, 6:00 pm: Enrica Tesio presents Cose che ti dico mentre dormi (Bompiani, 2025); a conversation with the author Lucia Zippo, President of the Per non stare a guardare Association.

- Thursday, July 30, 6:00 pm: Historian Bruno Maida presents I drummi di guerra fanno tremare. Childhood in Ukraine (Laterza, 2026), with Antonella Ferraris, director of ISRAL, who addresses the challenging issue of childhood in Ukraine.

- Thursday, July 30, 8:00 pm: Yoga in the Cloister, organized by the Roberta Borello Dance Center

September:

- September 18, 19, and 20: Documentary exhibition and cultural activities organized by AICAM (Italian Association of Mechanical Postage Collectors).
