This project has made it possible to document pages of the age-old history of the hill, remembered by ancient documents such as Mons Arimannorum, revealing the existence of a settlement that dates to the Iron Age, and subsequent human presence between the Middle (castle) and the Modern Age (fort) to the agricultural use of the slopes in the second half of the 19th century.
