Description
The traditional appointment with the autumn Fair of San Baudolino is back to showcase
the agri-food excellence of the province of Alessandria and more, full of initiatives which will bring the town to life
at the weekend to celebrate the patron saint.

SATURDAY 9 AND SUNDAY 10 NOVEMBER

From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The streets will fill with stalls showcasing and selling food and wine products: truffles, wine, mushrooms, cured meats, cheese, fruit and vegetables, chocolate, honey and other typical products.
Opening of Museums and Exhibitions
- Museum "Alessandria Città delle Biciclette" (10 a.m. -1 p.m. and 4 p.m. -7 p.m.)
- The exhibitions of the Civic Museum of Palazzo Cuttica (3 p.m. -7 p.m.)

The courtyard of the Chamber of Commerce (Via Vochieri 58) called “La corte del gusto” will come alive with stalls for the sale of truffles and the excellent traditional agri-food products: it will be possible
to taste and buy oven products, bread, focaccia, biscuits freshly baked by Alessandria bakers and also
chickpea pancake.

Slow Food Alessandria and Colline Nicesi Aps at the Gusto Slow stand will offer typical dishes, such as the Soup of Merella Chickpeas, the boiled Salami of Mandrogne, according to tradition, paired with
a tasty side of stewed Cabbage of San Giovanni, accompanied by a
glass of local red wine,
as well as Focacce della Fiera, savory and sweet or designed for the event: with Salami of Mandrogne and Cabbage of San Giovanni or with the Hunchback Cardoon of Nizza M.to in bagna cauda, all with the collaboration of the Association of Artisan Bakers of the province of Alessandria. Some of the products proposed will challenge the tradition with the “Sushi Mandrogno”.
Another event not to be missed is the tasting of ravioli at the Ristorante Bar Corona of San Sebastiano
Curone which recently won the "Disfida del Raviolotto” competition.

Palazzo del Monferrato will host “Vini a Palazzo”. In the hall of the exhibition center the Wine Protection Consortia of the provinces of Alessandria and Asti will be present for a day of
tasting the wines of the areas represented curated by AIS Piemonte - Italian Sommelier Association.
Wine tasting: 1 wine € 2 - 3 wines € 5. Tasting of cheese and cured meats € 5.

PIAZZA MARCONI
From noon to 3 p.m. Gruppo Alpini Alessandria “Domenico Arnoldi” will distribute agnolotti, grilled salami,
the “Panino dell’Alpino” and typical desserts until they run out. The proceeds will go to the
Associations of Alessandria.
