Description
On Saturday 2 November, the educational exhibition "Pipistrelli: folletti del crepuscolo" will be inaugurated at the headquarters of the Piedmont Apennine Protected Areas in Bosio (via Umberto I, 51- Salita Poggio). Set up by the Piedmont Po Protected Areas, the exhibition will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the presence of the park ranger Mara Calvini, a naturalist and bat expert (scientifically called chiroptera) who will explain the tables and elements of the exhibition describing the biology and behavior of the chiroptera as well as numerous curiosities on these animals which are so special and important for biodiversity, also in an urban context.

Participants will receive a complementary book "I chirotteri del Parco Naturale delle Capanne di Marcarolo" written by the researcher Roberto Toffoli

The exhibition will run until 20 December 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

To Friday 20 December visits will be by prior arrangement from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All primary and lower and higher secondary schools are invited to visit the exhibition.
