Saturday 22 June at 5.30 pm in the halls of the "C'era una volta" Ethnographic Museum in Piazza della Gambarina, Alessandria, Fabio Camilletti, in
conversation with Paolo Toselli, will take us on a fascinating journey through our past in which the imaginary and the fantastical had transversely pervaded all ranks of Italian society.

Does declaring that ghosts do not exist make them less real? In the book "Spettri
familiari. Letteratura e metapsichica nel secondo Novecento italiano”, among
mediumistic texts and Ouija boards, poltergeists and paranormal phenomena, haunted graveyards and souls of Purgatory, Fabio Camilletti, literary historian and professor at Warwick University reconstructs the profile of a "lunar" Italy which thanks to metaphysical suggestions tries to interrogate the shadows of history, the blind alleys of memory, the possibilities of re-enchantment.

* Monday 24 June at 9 pm lecture "Il tesoro di Marengo" by the Archaeologist Caputi

“Il Tesoro di Marengo” analysis of an accidental discovery and its consequences including
the
probable disappearance of several pieces. Through careful research conducted on the documents of the time and
the
testimony of several descendants of the discoverers who found it in the Cascina Pederbona in 1928,
we will enrich the story of this very important find which is not even contemplated
in the last
publication.
