The Diocese of Alessandria celebrates 850 years

Alessandria celebrates 850 years of the Diocese: a year of events and initiatives for the local Church and the town.

The first appointment is on 10 November 2024 at 3:15 p.m. in Piazza della Libertà for the liturgy of the opening of the Holy Door and start of the Jubilee Year for the 850 years of the Foundation of the Diocese of Alessandria. The special guest will be Cardinal Giuseppe Versaldi, predecessor of Monsignor Guido Gallese. Together they will celebrate Holy Mass in the Cathedral of Alessandria, which will start the festivities.
