1853-2023 Una rotaia lunga 170 anni (1853-2023 A 170-year-old track)
The third edition of the exhibition on 170 years of the Turin-Genoa railway line stops off in Arquata Scrivia. The exhibition, housed in Palazzo Spinola, will be open throughout the Christmas period and until 28
January 2024. The exhibition is promoted by the Committee for the 170 years of the railway line, a
body set up within Fondazione SLALA (Logistic System of the Northwest). The site of Arquata Scrivia was chosen because it is at the foot of the Apennines which was an unprecedented obstacle apparently unsurmountable at the time for the designers and builders of the line. This fascinating story awaits visitors in the rooms of the town hall during its opening times.
