The festival of concerts and events dedicated to the world of music, organised by the Music Conservatory of Alessandria, is back in its 23rd edition. The first appointment will be on Saturday 12 September at 6 pm with “L’immagnifica storia di Espérer”, written and directed by Antonio Damasco, staged by Teatro delle Forme. On Tuesday 15 September at 9 pm, Impresa Francesco Tamagno Opera Off will stage “La voix humaine” tragic opera by Francis Poulenc based on the libretto by Jean Cocteau, directed by Lucia Falco. This show will be by invitation only. The Vivaldi Music Conservatory of Alessandria will stage the street opera “Houdini the Great” for the first time in Italy on Saturday 19 September at 6 pm. It will be repeated on 26 September at 8 pm, as part of ClassicAperta, at Società Umanitaria in Milan (Via Solari, 40) In December, another two shows will be held, dates are still to be defined: “Don Quichotte auf der Hochzeit des Comacho” and “Ouverture burlesque De Quixotte”, two 18th century works which will be staged by the Interdepartment of Ancient Music. The Jazz Department will bring the festival to a close with “Don Chisciotte, una storia per un sogno”, based on text and music by Sandro Gino.


Free entry but booking is required. The shows will also be broadcast in streaming on the YouTube channel.
