FARM EXPERIENCE alla Locanda del Grillo

 Francesco Torello Rovereto, the farmer, greets and meets guests on the terrace of the castle at grillano, whilst relating some of the history of his farm. In 2008 the farm became organic. After iillustrating the principles of biodynamic agriculture, those who are interested can have a stroll through the vineyards accopanied by farm staff (we recommend suitable clothing).
Following the whole winemaking process from the vineyard to the bottle, each of the phases of production are explained through to ageing and bottling. Inside the "Winter Garden" room there is a tasting of at least four of the wines, accompanied by specialities of the farm, foccaccia and hand-rolled breadsticks.
